and for those of us who paid close attention two years ago, it's very much an echo of president obama's major vision for the country, is it not? >> no question about it. it's been his vision really throughout the time he's been in public life. i remember interviewing president obama about income inequality in the fall of 2007. what he was doing in this speech is making a broad argument for government action across the board, not just on things like the minimum wage, but also domestic investments and infrastructure and education, job training. also his health care law. he's always seen the aforfordab care act as one element of an agenda to give a foundation of stability and security economically under people as they try to get into the middle class. he was reiterating that argument today. as you said, the shift to a more offensive argument shows how key it was to get that website working by the december 1st deadline because that is something that allows the administration to shift and make a different kind of argument. we will see, of course, whether or not as the president pointed out i

that's the white house's central message. this is a six-month test to see if iran is serious about scaling back their nuclear program. one of the key pieces of this, of course, is that inspectors are going to be allowed to go into the country and to actually determine whether or not iran is serious. so that will be one of the big determinates about iran o's lev of seriousness in terms of going forward with this deal. president obama also pointing to the fact that of $100 billion worth of sanctions, they are easing about $7 billion of those sanctions, leaving in the strong and sort of core parts of the sanctions program. of course, that, not enough to convince skeptics, israelis, a majority of them say this deal is not a good enough deal. prime minister benjamin netanyahu also saying that this deal isn't strong enough, doesn't do enough to curb iran's nuclear program. he is going to speak at the sabon center tomorrow, by the way, craig. we'll likely get a very different take on this deal that's come together from him. but i th

after two months of battling negative headlines white house is looking to turn the page on obama care. today the president kicks off a new three week campaign to refocus the public's attention on the positive aspects of the health care law. what does that entail? >> this is what democrats wanted for two years. they say every day between now and december 23rd they will do some event to talk about each day one different good part of the health care law in their view. the idea is they got to do something about this sinking poll numbers for health care reform. they got to recalibrate the debate gaven they went through the worst possible coverage of the roll out. the question is, can that work. if the site does work. if people does start to get health care coverage you'll get a different debate. the question is how much damage was done and is this thing fixed? you guys had a good conversation yesterday on the show yes the front end fixed but is the back end fixed in a way to lead people getting coverage that they can trust that insurance companies know what benefits they are getting as far
